Build your AI service on a working foundation
Vimstead Kit is an editable codebase for selling an AI text service. Accounts, one-time payments, request processing and private results are already connected, giving you a starting point for your own service’s features.

EXAMPLE PRODUCT WORKSPACES
See how customers use the service and owners manage it
These examples show both sides of the service: a customer submits a request and receives a private result, while the owner follows orders, usage and costs. The screens use sample orders and payments, with an illustrative proposal for an independent bookstore’s website.
The owner dashboard brings orders and usage together
See customers, paid orders, requests and AI usage in the owner dashboard. Review estimated model costs and configure the text services your product offers.

Customers receive their results in a private account
The customer signs in, submits a request, follows its progress and receives a private result. The request stays linked to the order that paid for it.

WHAT THE KIT TAKES CARE OF
Spend your development time on the service itself
With the shared foundations connected and documented, you can shape the service around a specific customer task, choosing the information it needs, the instructions it follows and the result it delivers. The license allows you to adapt the code for that purpose.

Accounts and payments
Customers can create an account, sign in, recover a password and pay for an order through Stripe. The paid order stays linked to its request and private result.
From a request to an AI result
Define what information the customer supplies and what text the AI should produce. Requests run in the background through OpenAI or Anthropic, while customers can follow progress and return to their results in their account.
Files, email and background jobs
Private files and expiring links help deliver a result to the right customer. Transactional email keeps users informed, while a job queue processes requests in the background. Setup instructions and automated checks support preparing your version for launch.
WHAT IS IN THE CODE
The source code is supplied for you to adapt
The package contains an editable Next.js application with its interface, database and service connections. You can adapt it yourself or ask us to handle specific changes under an agreed scope.
Next.js · React · TypeScript
Next.js and React run the customer screens and owner dashboard. TypeScript structures the application code; Tailwind CSS handles its styling.
PostgreSQL · Drizzle · Better Auth
PostgreSQL holds the data and queued jobs. Drizzle manages database changes, while Better Auth handles verified customer accounts.
Stripe · OpenAI · Anthropic · Resend
Connect your own accounts for payments, text models and transactional email. The kit supplies the integrations; the provider services are configured for your product.
The included guides and prompts support work with Codex, Claude Code or Cursor. They help you navigate and adapt the code for your service.
What can I build with it?
Build a proposal-writing assistant, a specialised writing service or another paid text tool. Define the information customers submit and the result they need. The kit also includes an example for delivering a licensed digital download.
How can the kit be extended?
The supplied flow covers paid text services and private results. For products that also need image generation, PDF parsing, subscriptions, usage credits, OAuth or team accounts, we scope those capabilities as additional development.
What do I configure for a launch?
You will need a domain, hosting, provider accounts, model choices and the rules for your service. Hosting, AI usage and other provider charges remain separate operating costs.
